The Eagle Academy is a pre-qualified supplier (PQS) this means we are approved to deliver training and assessment services funded by the Queensland Government under the VET Investment Plan.
There are strict eligibility criteria that each student will need to meet for all funded programs. Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program
The Skills Checkpoint Program provides eligible Australians with advice and guidance on transitioning into new roles within their current industry or pathways to a new career, including referral to relevant education and training options.
Eligible individuals are those aged 45 to 70, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, employed and at risk of entering the income support system, or recently unemployed (within three months) and not registered for assistance through an Australian Government employment services program.
Centrelink Support and Payments
The Eagle Academy has a range of payment options that make our courses affordable. For students who are interested in seeking further funding/support The Eagle Academy has registered all courses (excluding English) with Centrelink. You may be eligible to apply for Youth Allowance, Austudy or Abstudy. More information on eligibility for Youth Allowance, Austudy or Abstudy can be found on the Centrelink website or by calling 13 24 68.
