Subsidised Training and Programs

The Eagle Academy is a Skills Assure Supplier (SAS, previously known as PQS) this means we are approved to deliver training and assessment services funded by the Queensland Government under the Certificate 3 Guarantee and Higher Level Skills Programs. 

There are strict eligibility criteria that each student will need to meet for all funded programs. Training Funded by the Australian Government

Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program

The Australian Government, through its Skills and Training Incentive, is providing up to $2,200 (GST inclusive) to fund training to help mature age Australians to update their skills and remain in the workforce longer.


Eligible individuals are those aged 45 to 70, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, are currently employed OR recently unemployed (within nine months) and not registered with an Australian Government employment services provider, and have completed a Skills Checkpoint assessment that identified training opportunities through the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program (Program).

Centrelink Support and Payments

The Eagle Academy has a range of payment options that make our courses affordable. For students who are interested in seeking further funding/support The Eagle Academy has registered all courses (excluding English) with Centrelink. You may be eligible to apply for Youth Allowance, Austudy or Abstudy.
